About Us

We're building the layer no one owned.

Spine started from a simple, frustrating observation: mental health care isn't only short on clinicians - it's short on connection. The organizations meant to catch people can't reliably hand off to one another, so people get lost in the gaps between them. That's not a clinical problem. It's an infrastructure problem. And infrastructure is something you can build.

What we believe

The principles we build by.

01

No one falls through.

The whole reason this layer matters is the person who would otherwise be lost in the gap between two organizations. They're who every decision answers to.

02

Never the model alone.

For a high-acuity population, clinical judgment stays human and crisis escalation stays deterministic. We automate the connective work, not the duty of care.

03

Flow before capacity.

You can relieve an overloaded system by routing people correctly, not only by hiring. We pull the lever that's been left alone.

04

The trust is sacred.

People hand us the most private thing they have, at the worst moment of their lives. Guarding it - their consent, their privacy, their control over their own data - isn't compliance. It's the respect they're owed.
